Senior Clinical Research Coordinator

As a Clinical Neurotechnology Research Assistant, Jessica visits the homes of participants to facilitate their use of the BrainGate system and collect data for various BrainGate projects. These projects focus on improving methods for decoding neural signals relevant to body movement and using those signals to control computer cursors and robotic arms.

Jessica received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Wellesley College. As an undergrad, Jessica worked in the Wiest Lab, studying the role of acetylcholine in attention, using electrophysiology in rats. After graduating in 2016, Jessica found a new home with the BrainGate team.
