Tariq Parker, a recipient of the Jamaica Scholarship in 2009, graduated with distinction from the University of the West Indies in 2014, earning an MB BS Honours degree. He excelled in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine, and Surgery, achieving subject prizes in Internal Medicine and Surgery for his outstanding academic performance across the Caribbean.

After completing his medical education, Tariq embarked on a remarkable career path. Currently, he serves as a Neurosurgery Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital, showcasing his dedication to the field of neuroscience. Additionally, Tariq holds the position of Contributing Scientist at the MGH Brain Modulation Lab, contributing valuable insights to advance neuroscientific research.
